Headline: Two Arrested in Connection with Killing of Hindu Right-wing Group Leader
In a major breakthrough, the Rajasthan Police and Delhi Police’s Crime Branch have successfully apprehended two shooters involved in the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief of the Hindu right-wing group Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena (SRRKS). The incident took place at his Jaipur residence on December 5, resulting in his tragic death. The accused, identified as Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, were captured in a joint operation at a liquor shop in Chandigarh’s sector 22. Uddham Singh, who had assisted the shooters in evading the police, was also taken into custody.
The chilling event unfolded when the shooters gained access to Gogamedi’s residence under the pretense of a meeting. However, instead of a peaceful conversation, they resorted to violence by opening fire, instantly killing both Gogamedi and their accomplice, Naveen Shekhawat. Following the incident, the police managed to track the shooters through their social media activities and mobile phone usage.
Initially, the shooters had planned to flee to Delhi. However, thanks to relentless efforts and a combination of technical and manual tracking, they were intercepted in Chandigarh. Surprisingly, the shooters had taken refuge in a liquor shop located in the city’s sector 22, where they were ultimately nabbed by the authorities.
In a shocking twist, Rohit Godara, associated with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, claimed responsibility for the shooting in a Facebook post. According to police reports, he hired the two assailants to execute Gogamedi. Investigators are now focused on uncovering the involvement of Godara and his gang, with the arrested shooters expected to provide critical information during questioning.
The police believe that the shooters may have disposed of the murder weapons and buried them near a hotel in Jaipur. To recover this crucial evidence, extensive searches are being conducted in the area.
This heinous crime has sent shockwaves throughout the country as it was captured on CCTV and quickly went viral. Its alleged connection to a plot devised in Canada, with Godara supposedly hiding there, has only added to the intrigue surrounding the case. Ramveer Jatt, another individual involved in aiding the shooters’ escape, has also been apprehended and will face questioning by the authorities.
As the investigation progresses, the nation waits with bated breath for more updates on this tragic incident that has shaken the Hindu right-wing community.
