Former Kentucky forward Zvonimir Ivisic has announced his decision to transfer to Arkansas with head coach John Calipari through the NCAA Transfer Portal. This move comes after Ivisic entered the transfer portal on April 13 following his one season with the Wildcats.
During his time at Kentucky, Ivisic showcased his skills by averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. Despite only playing in 15 games due to NCAA eligibility issues, he made significant contributions in games against Alabama and in his debut.
Calipari played a crucial role in assisting Ivisic with gaining eligibility to play at Kentucky, and the former Wildcat expressed his gratitude towards his coach for the support he received during his time at the program.
In addition to transferring to Arkansas with Calipari, Ivisic can also expect a familiar environment as Calipari’s assistant coaches from Kentucky are expected to join him at his new coaching position. This continuity in coaching staff could potentially benefit Ivisic as he transitions to a new program.
As Ivisic looks ahead to his future with the Razorbacks, fans will be eager to see how he continues to develop and contribute to the team under the guidance of Calipari and his coaching staff. Stay tuned for updates on Ivisic’s journey at Arkansas on Road Rug Cars.
