The iPhone 16 Series: What to Expect from Apple’s Upcoming Devices
Excitement is building as images of purportedly accurate dummy models of the iPhone 16 series have been shared online, giving us a closer look at the rumored design of the upcoming devices. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to have larger display sizes this year, with the Pro boasting a 6.3-inch display and the Pro Max featuring a 6.9-inch display. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will maintain the same size as last year’s models.
One of the most notable changes in the iPhone 16 series is the replacement of the Mute Switch with an Action button on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. This redesigned rear camera bump on the iPhone 16 dummy models houses separate Wide and Ultrawide lenses, a microphone, and camera flash.
Moreover, all four iPhone 16 models are expected to feature a new Capture button for taking photos and videos, designed to enhance the iPhone as a camera alternative for shooting horizontal video. This button, located on the side of the device, will be mechanical and respond to pressure and touch.
Apple is anticipated to release the iPhone 16 lineup in September, with more details available in dedicated roundups for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro. Stay tuned for more information on Apple’s highly anticipated devices.
