The NFL has announced the list of players who will be attending the upcoming draft in Detroit, with a total of 13 players set to be present. Among the notable names on the list are quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye. However, some key players such as Bo Nix, Michael Penix, and Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy will not be in attendance, with the reasons for their absence remaining unclear.
The list of confirmed attendees also includes Terrion Arnold, Marvin Harrison Jr., JC Latham, Laiatu Latu, Quinyon Mitchell, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Darius Robinson, Brian Thomas Jr., and Dallas Turner. This marks the lowest number of attendees since 2021, when only 17 players attended the draft in Kansas City.
Interestingly, in the years before COVID, the draft typically saw a higher number of prospects in attendance, with an average of 22 players attending from 2015 to 2019. The highest number of prospects attending the draft was in 2015, when a total of 28 players were present.
Despite the lower number of attendees this year, excitement for the draft remains high as teams and fans eagerly await to see where these talented prospects will be selected. Stay tuned to Road Rug Cars for more updates on the upcoming NFL draft.
