SpaceX is gearing up for a week full of exciting rocket launches, as the company continues its busy schedule. The space exploration giant has announced two upcoming Falcon 9 launches, in addition to a Soyuz 2.1a launch.
The first launch of the week will be carried out by Roscosmos, the Russian space agency. They plan to send the Progress MS-25 resupply capsule to the International Space Station (ISS) using a Soyuz 2.1a rocket. This mission aims to deliver essential supplies, including fuel, water, and compressed nitrogen, weighing approximately 2,500 kilograms to the astronauts onboard the ISS.
Following that, SpaceX will take over with a Falcon 9 launch from Vandenburg Space Force Base (VSFB). This launch will have multiple payloads destined for a Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO). Lastly, the Jielong-3 rocket will conclude the week with a launch to an SSO. Though the payload is unknown, there are speculations that it may include Hong Kong’s first-ever Star satellite, adding an element of mystery to the mission.
